Plans are currently underway for another Ontario Toy Auction at Woodstock on Saturday, August 23, 2008. As you know, having rare, high quality toys has contributed greatly to the success of this event with the attraction of serious collectors from across Canada and the United States.
Last year, we had an excellent offering and we hope to have the same for this year. Please consign only good quality, older toys. We solicit your cooperation in not including any current/recent shelf or collector editions.
As in the past, entries will be screened to avoid an oversupply of common or readily available items. Please give accurate descriptions that are typed or in legible handwriting and have your toys delivered early. If any questionable items appear for auction, we reserve the right to refuse or move them to the end of the auction.
Obviously we risk upsetting some who may have items rejected, however we believe this is necessary to ensure a successful event and satisfy the purchasers who travel many miles to attend. We will try and do this in a fair and reasonable manner and thank you for your cooperation and support.
We encourage you to email your consignments and have created an Excel spreadsheet for this purpose which can be downloaded here, or request this via email dougv@tinytoys.com and we will send you the template. Otherwise you can mail or fax the hard copy form to Rick Kiers at (519) 539-2089.
